How Global iMatrix collects, uses and protects personal information on imatrixsolutions.com. Each of our mobile apps has its own privacy policy, linked from the Apps page.

This website, imatrixsolutions.com, is operated by Global I-Matrix Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd., trading as Global iMatrix, a software design and development company registered in India. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean that company.

02What this policy covers
This policy covers the website at imatrixsolutions.com and the ways you can contact us through it. It does not cover:
- Our mobile apps. Each app published by Global iMatrix on Google Play or the App Store has its own privacy policy, written for what that app actually does. You will find them on the Apps page.
- Client websites and products we build. Those are operated by our clients under their own privacy policies, even where we host or maintain them.
- Third-party sites we link to. Their policies apply once you leave our site.
03Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the website, answer you and understand how the site is used.

04How we use it
- To reply to enquiries, prepare proposals and deliver work you have asked for.
- To consider job applications.
- To operate, secure and improve the website, including measuring which pages are used.
- To send email updates you have asked for, and to measure advertising we run, where you have consented.
- To meet legal obligations, such as tax and accounting records for client work, and to establish or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
05Legal basis
We process personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for visitors in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR. Depending on the situation we rely on:
- Your consent — for analytics, advertising cookies, newsletters and chat widgets. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Performance of a contract, or steps you ask us to take before one — when you enquire about or commission work.
- Legitimate interests — keeping the site secure, preventing abuse and understanding aggregate usage, where this does not override your rights.
- Legal obligation — records we must keep by law.
06Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses a small number of cookies and similar identifiers:

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies may affect some features, but the site remains usable.
07Who we share it with
We share personal information only with providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions, and only as much as they need:
- Hosting and email — our hosting provider and Google Workspace, which stores the mail you send us.
- Analytics and advertising — Google (Analytics, Ads) and, where used, Meta and LinkedIn, under their own privacy policies.
- Email marketing and chat providers — where such a service is in use, the provider processes the data you give it.
- Professional advisers and authorities — accountants, lawyers or regulators where the law requires or permits it.
Some of these providers are outside India, including in the United States and the European Union. Where data leaves India, or the EEA or UK, we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, and on the protections described in their policies.
08How long we keep it
- Enquiries — for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless the enquiry becomes a project, in which case the records are kept for the life of the engagement and as required by law afterwards.
- Job applications — for up to 12 months, so we can contact you about future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Analytics data — retained in Google Analytics for 14 months, then aggregated.
- Server logs — typically rotated within 30 days.
- Newsletter subscriptions — until you unsubscribe.
09Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority — in India, the Data Protection Board of India; in the EEA or UK, your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email support@imatrixsolutions.com from the address you used with us, or tell us how to verify that the request is yours. We reply within 30 days.
10Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiries and applications is limited to the people who need it, and our accounts use strong authentication. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
11Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 through it. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
12Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page for a reasonable period. The current version always lives at imatrixsolutions.com/privacy-policy.
